What We Do
To create a Greater Miami where everyone can thrive, we work to accelerate leadership, connection, generosity, and strength in our community.
At our Foundation, we do this in five key ways:

Develop Leaders
Preparing the next generation of leaders is critical to our effort. Our leadership programs deepen the civic knowledge of emerging leaders and invest in their growth, benefiting our community. We couple that with our broad work to step up and address important quality-of-life issues as informed by our community.
Together, our efforts build a more supportive place to call home that retains the talent needed to sustain our long-term progress.
Support Nonprofits
Our community’s nonprofits work every day to improve life in Greater Miami. In turn, we support them through financial and capacity-building solutions.
Nonprofit support can include: Organization Endowments, Capacity Building, Community Grants, Fiscal Sponsorships, and Partner Programs.

Accelerate Generosity
For almost 60 years, we’ve helped individuals, families, and businesses manage their charitable giving and unlock the power of collective philanthropy.
We start with your vision and work hand-in-hand with you to create an effective, individualized giving platform that is personally fulfilling and impactful.
Exchange Knowledge
At The Miami Foundation, we believe it is essential to connect our community to knowledge about both the progress and needs in our region, so that all Miamians can play a role in creating a Greater Miami where everyone can thrive.
Explore our wealth of local knowledge through our reports and publications, and find a cause you want to get involved in.

Collaborate on Solutions
The Miami Foundation leverages 50+ years of relationships and context to bring together nonprofits, elected officials, businesses, philanthropic, and community leaders to solve local issues and drive Greater Miami toward resilience and equity in ways that could not happen in silos.
In order to solve the biggest issues facing the future of Miami, we have to bring people together.
