MIAMI-DADE COUNTY PARTNERS WITH THE MIAMI FOUNDATION TO OFFER $10 MILLION IN COVID-19 RELIEF GRANTS FOR SMALL NONPROFITS

The Miami Foundation, in partnership with Miami-Dade County’s Department of Public Housing and Community Development, will offer $10 million in grants to local, small nonprofits. The Miami-Dade County Nonprofit Support Grants program, made possible by the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act, will provide financial relief to charitable organizations impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Saturday, July 25, The Miami Foundation, Health Foundation of South Florida, Florida Blue Foundation and partners will put nearly 70,000 units of personal protection equipment (PPE) into the hands of essential and nonprofit workers fighting to protect their communities from the spread of COVID-19.
