Los estudios que relacionan los parques con la reducción de los índices de delincuencia han llevado a importantes áreas metropolitanas de todo el país, como Filadelfia, Providence y Austin, a utilizar los espacios verdes como una oportunidad para crear lugares de reunión seguros para la comunidad.
