Jonathan Rosado (he/él) is an economic development and community finance practitioner dedicated to expanding access to capital for small businesses and nonprofits. Born and raised in Brooklyn to Puerto Rican parents, Jonathan joined The Miami Foundation to advance economic resilience through innovative financing tools, including a nonprofit bridge loan fund and new community acquisition and impact investing strategies. He brings nearly a decade of experience in SBA lending, credit risk management, and CDFI advisory, having underwritten and deployed over $40 million in mission-driven capital to entrepreneurs in underserved communities.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Jonathan served as a Small Business Lending Development Officer and Consultant with Inclusiv, advising more than 100 credit unions across the United States and Puerto Rico on small business lending program design, credit policy, and community investment strategy. He also spent several years at Renaissance Economic Development Corporation in Lower Manhattan, progressing from Underwriter to Credit Manager, where he led risk oversight, loan review, and portfolio management for high-impact SBA and microloan portfolios. His work has consistently focused on bridging institutional capital with grassroots entrepreneurship, particularly for immigrant, minority, and cash-based business owners.

Jonathan is deeply committed to economic mobility and inclusive finance. He is the founder of Trace Impact Consulting and is currently completing his MBA at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business. A first-generation college graduate, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a concentration in Puerto Rican Studies from Hunter College.
