Arts Access Catalyst Grant<\/h1>\n

Arts Access Miami\u202f aims to bring the transformational power of arts and music education to all youth. At The Miami Foundation, our goal is to build a Greater Miami where everyone can thrive, and we know that access to arts is vital to achieving that vision. When young people are able to engage in and connect with the arts, their ability to problem solve, open their minds to new ideas, and find meaning and purpose grows.<\/p>\n

The Catalyst Grant is a grant program that aims to close gaps in arts education across our region, as highlighted from\u202fdata\u202fin\u202fartlook\u00ae Miami<\/a>. Through this grant, we want to foster stronger\u202farts partnerships\u202fwithin the Miami-Dade County Public Schools ecosystem.<\/p>\n

Catalyst Grants\u202fare multi-year grants (up to $20,000 distributed over two years) for arts education programs, initiatives, and organizations in Miami-Dade. Grant funds are intended to address opportunities for\u202fstrengthened arts partnerships between nonprofit organizations and Miami-Dade County Public Schools.<\/p>\n

In addition to the grant funds, The Miami Foundation works closely with each selected grant partner throughout the two-year period to provide capacity-building and opportunities for network-building, collaboration, and learning.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” css=”.vc_custom_1746743677266{padding-top: 45px !important;padding-bottom: 45px !important;background-color: #F5F5F5 !important;}”][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”43302″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” css=””][vc_column_text css=””]Mission: <\/strong>\u201cOur mission is to strengthen communities \u2013 particularly those that are underserved and historically disadvantaged \u2013 by investing in people through literary and performing arts. We aim to make art accessible, entertaining, informative and inspirational.\u201d<\/p>\n

School Partners:<\/strong> Norland High School and iPrep Academy North<\/p>\n

Funding Plans:<\/strong> Facilitate professional development opportunities by providing arts integration strategies and curricular enhancements. Funding Plans:<\/strong> Provide students with training in acting technique, dance, vocals and health and wellness. Funding Plans:<\/strong> Deliver an Arts Based Youth Development program for young people who are incarcerated. Funding Plans:<\/strong> Enhance the MiamiBlocoKids program, in partnership with Armour Dance Theatre.
