Erin is deeply committed to the community she loves and calls home– just one of the reasons she decided to take on the role of helping to lead our foundation as Board Chair this year.
“What gives me hope is Miami’s resilience, its desire to welcome so many into our community, and as a result, the incredible diversity of its people,” Erin said.
Community

As a real estate investment professional, her journey has centered on creating value and building connections, and she sees this role as an extension of that mission.
“I want all Miamians to know that they have a role to play in shaping the future of our city,” Erin said. “Whether through acts of kindness, civic engagement, or philanthropy– every contribution matters. Together, we can continue to build a Greater Miami that is vibrant, inclusive, and full of opportunity for generations to come.”
Serving as president of Monument Capital Management, she has overseen the strategic growth of the firm with over 20 years of experience in multiple facets of the financial services arena. In addition, Erin has sat on various boards, including those of Baptist Health Foundation and March of Dimes.
With her impressive history and current leadership, driving lasting change and collective impact is her ultimate goal. Her ambition is perfectly aligned with the word that she believes sums up the foundation—catalyst.
Catalyst
“The Miami Foundation is a catalyst for change and progress by connecting people, resources, and ideas in a way that amplifies impact and advances solutions to some of our community’s most pressing challenges,” Erin said. “The Foundation transforms generosity into measurable, lasting outcomes for our community.”
Erin said she has distinctly enjoyed watching the foundation grow under the leadership of Rebecca Fishman Lipsey, and looks forward to the magic that lies ahead, as they continue to work together.
“I am particularly inspired by the leadership of Rebecca,” Erin said. “Since her appointment in 2020, Rebecca has grown the Foundation by 50% and I know, in her mind, she is just getting started. She thinks big, values collaboration, and is driven by achieving excellence.”
Aside from being a tremendous philanthropic leader, what can you find Erin doing? Spending time with her family and close friends– where she finds the most joy!
“I always say, the little things are the big things in life,” Erin said. “I love having people at the house whether that is family or friends, including my son’s friends; we enjoy sharing meals, time on the patio, playing games, laughing, and relaxing.”
Looking Forward

Erin,
We are grateful you have chosen to step into this role for our foundation, and we don’t take this commitment for granted. We look forward to the impact of your leadership as Board Chair, and can’t wait to love Miami and be catalysts for change, together.
We conclude this welcome note with some wise, encouraging words to you, from our outgoing Board Chair, Sheldon Anderson.
“Use your vast talents to joyously support a community jewel and don’t hold back,” – Sheldon Anderson.
