Ways to Give
Donate via Credit Card
You can make an immediate credit card donation to a Foundation program or a Fund housed at The Miami Foundation. Click here, and you will be directed to an external landing page to make your donation via our platform partner, Foundant.
Donate via Check
Please make checks payable to “The Miami Foundation” and remember to include the Fund name or designation in the memo line or in accompanying documentation. Mail should be sent to:

Donate via Electronic Transfer (ACH or Wire)
You can initiate your transfer to a Fund via the instructions included in the ACH/Wire Transfer Form. Please notify your Fund Representative by completing and returning the form to Philanthropy@MiamiFoundation.org.
Donate via Publicly Traded Securities or Mutual Funds
You can initiate a transfer to a Fund via the instructions included in the Securities Transfer Form. Please notify your Fund Representative by completing and returning the form to Philanthropy@MiamiFoundation.org.
Please note: Mutual funds may take up to four weeks to settle.
Donate via Qualified Charitable Deductions (IRA Charitable Rollovers)
Individuals may make a direct transfer of up to $100,000 from their IRA as a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) to any designated, field-of-interest, scholarship, fiscal sponsorship or Collective Impact Fund at The Miami Foundation.
Please note: Donor Advised Funds are not eligible to receive QCDs. Please contact your Fund Representative for more information about directing a transfer.
Donate via Complex Assets
The Foundation specializes in donations of non-cash assets, including cryptocurrency, real estate, closely held business interests or stock. Please contact your Fund Representative or call 305-371-2711 to speak to a Philanthropy Team member.
Foreign-Source Certification. Pursuant to Fla. Stat. § 496.415(20), The Miami Foundation does not accept donations from any “foreign source of concern.” By completing a donation to The Miami Foundation, I certify that neither I nor any entity I control is a “foreign source of concern” as defined in Fla. Stat. § 496.404, and that this contribution is not made on behalf of such a source. I understand that misrepresentation may subject me to penalties under Florida law.
