Caroline brings 15 years of experience working across nonprofit, foundation, government and educational settings with the goal of centering community voices and supporting institutions to advance social justice in partnership with community organizations and leaders. She is committed to equity as an outcome and as a process that requires constant commitment and interrogation and relies on relational work. She loves bringing distinct community stakeholders together to create spaces for learning, skill building and deep reflection and to cultivate shared values and priorities. Caroline is a community organizer engaged in a variety of Miami initiatives related to advancing intergroup dialogue, reproductive rights, access to books, and social justice programming in school settings.

Caroline worked for six years at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene leading cross-functional initiatives focused on health equity and capacity building. She participated in the Health Equity Awakened Leadership Fellowship as one of twenty fellows selected from city and county health departments nationwide. She previously worked at Amnesty International USA and has volunteered and consulted for community-based organizations in Tanzania, Honduras, and India focused on the health and rights of women and girls. She has a Master of Public Health and Master of Public Administration from Columbia University. She proudly serves on the Boards of Planned Parenthood of South, East and North Florida and Tikkun Olam of Temple Beth Am. Caroline lives in Miami with her husband, daughter and son. She enjoys reading, baking desserts (and trying out local bakeries), volunteering and the joyful, unpredictable journey of parenting!
