Originally from Texas and raised as a military child, Stephanie has a global perspective shaped by her experiences living in various communities around the world. She moved to Miami in 2001 and became the first in her family to attend college, earning a Bachelor’s in International Affairs and History from Florida State University, followed by a Master’s in Public Administration with a focus on Nonprofit Management. With over 15 years of experience in education, volunteerism, and grant programs, Stephanie has dedicated her career to driving social change. Her journey includes teaching middle school in Allapattah, serving in Peace Corps Panama, supporting schools through City Year, and managing transformative grant programs at Florida International University and Miami Dade College.
Stephanie’s expertise includes program development, grant management, data analysis, and community outreach. She is passionate about leveraging research to create impactful solutions and building partnerships to support social progress. Outside of her career, she is a certified yoga teacher and enjoys traveling and hiking with her husband and four children, cuddling with her two dogs, and exploring best practices for advancing social change.
