Steve Ryan is The Miami Foundation’s Accounts Payable Specialist. He works closely with the CFO and all other members of the Finance and Operations Team to provide help wherever needed. Steve is a native of Alabama and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Sales from The University of Alabama in Birmingham. Prior to moving to South Florida, he was a real estate agent in the Birmingham area. After moving to Fort Lauderdale with his husband, Derrick, in 2017, he began working as a Medical Office Manager. He has always had an interest in working for with a nonprofit organization and is thrilled to be with The Miami Foundation. He is enamored with the climate, the beaches, and the various cultures in Southern Florida and is proud to call it his home.
