Our Community Priorities
We house nearly 1,000 community efforts ranging across every issue area and neighborhood. Below are some of the current priorities that our community has asked us to focus on.
Empower Youth & Families
We empower the next generation by ensuring Miami-Dade’s youth and families have equitable access to educational and developmental opportunities at school, at home, and in community.
Generate Prosperity
We contribute to economic mobility efforts that make Miami a place where everyone can thrive. We partner with local nonprofits, government agencies, and the business sector to invest in our local workforce, small businesses, and the overall financial health of our community.
Inspire Civic Involvement
Civically engaged communities are stronger communities. We inspire civic involvement by expanding access to critical information through investments in local news, forums, and information.
Build Climate & Disaster Resilience
In partnership with government officials and grassroots organizations, we strengthen the resiliency of our built and natural environment against hurricanes, extreme heat, and other natural and manmade disasters.
Eliminate Inequities
We ground our community in data and invest in organizations and individuals advancing equal access to opportunities, resources, and rights in our community.
